MMTS
|
| |
| Launched between Aug 09, 2003 and February 14, 2004, sans speed breakers or the erstwhile potholes, the MMTS experience is surely a relaxing and smooth ride. |
|
The MMTS trains also run between Lingampally - Falaknuma and Hyderabad (Nampally) - Falaknuma.
A joint venture of the state government and South Central Railway, its uniqueness lies in the ticketing which is common across the MMTS trains and the connecting buses.
Most MMTS Trains commute between 7:30AM - 9:30AM and 4PM - 6:30PM, which are the peak traffic hours for office goers.
|
|
| The MMTS has
reduced travel costs and time and the dependency on private transport.
In addition, it has contributed to reducing the environmental pollution
and road traffic jams. |
