“Reliance fresh stores is going to capture Retail Market” as per most of the business reviews. In fact this is a marketing strategy of reliance to boost up their high class super market, which is launched taking 20% of the high class people in to the mind but not the 60% of middle and upper middle class. Although reliance 501 mobile has started the new era in mobile communications in India, but reliance fresh stores not targeted at middle class which clearly shows the change of strategy in reliance.

We can quote the best example is: Rs.110/- for the KG of Apple by keeping the name from New Zealand which cannot be spent by a middle class men as it barely brings him 4 apples. Does really apple from New Zealand makes any difference to a common man? On the other hand the same Rs. 110/- can get him a moderate dinner for the modern nuclear family.

This shuts down the debate going on in market that the giants of the industry like Tata and Reliance going to capture the market of retail stores, which have an age old history. They can only capture the retail market once they catch the pulse of a common man. The best example is Reliance 501 mobile again…
