While Secunderabad and parts of the old city are very congested and driving or parking may be very tedious and time consuming, as you move towards the suburban sections, the roads start widening and the traffic lessens.

To manage the traffic in Hyderabad, the AP government has taken effective measures such as springing up several flyovers on the roads that are laden with heavy traffic.

Traffic and police patrol cars can be seen patrolling the roads and streets to avoid any unrest, whether it be due to traffic congestion or road rage.
